Kakar visited Kuwait on a two-day visit last month to interact with the top leadership of the Arab country and sign a number of bilateral cooperation and investment deals.
The two countries agreed to broaden and deepen their relationship by specifically focusing on areas related to manpower, information technology, mineral exploration, food security, energy and defense.
The late Kuwaiti ruler was named crown prince in 2006 by his half-brother Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and took over as emir in September 2020.His country announced official mourning for 40 days and the closure of official departments for three days after the announcement of his death on Saturday.
