India team for Champions Trophy 2025: Here’s the complete list of players who will be part of CT 2025. India has officially revealed its lineup for the 2025 Champions Trophy, set to commence on February 19. The team’s journey will begin with a match against Bangladesh on February 20, followed closely by an eagerly awaited confrontation with Pakistan on February 23 in Dubai.

Last month, the ICC approved a hybrid model for the upcoming eight-team tournament, which will host India’s matches in Dubai.

Rohit Sharma continues to lead the team in the 50-over format and has appointed Shubman Gill as the new vice-captain. Pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, who is currently recovering from a back injury, has been included in the squad but is unlikely to participate in the England series leading up to the tournament.

Harshit Rana, who made his international debut during the Border-Gavaskar Trophy series, will replace Bumrah in the squad for the England series.

Mohammed Shami, who is set to return in the T20I series, retains his place for the Champions Trophy alongside left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh. Mohammed Siraj has not been selected.

Kuldeep Yadav, returning from an extensive injury hiatus, has been selected for the team. He will collaborate with Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Washington Sundar in the spin unit.

The main structure of the batting lineup stays mostly consistent with the team that advanced to the final of the 2023 ODI World Cup. Notably, Rishabh Pant rejoins the squad for the 50-over format, while Yashasvi Jaiswal has been chosen as the additional opener.
